Footbaths
Recipe for footbath with soap and bleach:
2 x a week: 1 gallon 12% Chlorine bleach mixed with 1 gallon liquid soap per 55 gallons water. Use for 200-250 cows.
1 x week: 25 lbs. CuSo4 (copper sulfate-blue powder) mixed with 10 oz. Sodium Bisulfate per 55 gallons water. Use for 200-250 cows.
Change to new solution as needed – depends on cow flow and how dirty the baths get.
